On June 11, 2010 Facebook Pages fan page announced
Facebook Pages admins can remove other admins (now including the page creator) by following these steps:
1. Click the “Edit Page” link below the Page’s photo.
2. On the right hand side, click the “Remove admin” link in the Admin section to remove selected admins.
This is good news for organizations who set up fake personal accounts in the name of the organization to create a fan page. (See background post on violation of Facebook terms of service.)
Facebook’s terms of service still require that a personal profile of a real person must create and administrate a fan page. Now, however, organizations are not stuck with just one person as creator or administrator. So as personnel assignments for the Facebook fan page changes, new administrators can be assigned and old ones deleted.
